LT Kerb Drain

A light weight drainage kerb that is designed to be filled with concrete after placement to form a continous conveyance route

THE NEED

Many of the kerbs and kerb drainage products are very heavy and placing them can lead to Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) if incorrectly done. They can also only be laid in short lengths due to the maximum handling weight limitation.

An Ideal Kerb or kerbdrain  is one that:

  • One that is light enough to be handled by one man
  • One that can be manufactured and laid in longer lengths to increasing laying speed.
  • One that has strengths equivalent to solid concrete kerbs
  • One that retains its restraint function after accidental high temperature vehicle fires
  • One that can be continuously plumbed or conduits joined like drainage pipes to eliminate risk of leakage.

  • One that has suffient conveyance capacity
