The lightest kerb in the market, that can easily be handled by one and can be laid in long lengths.
LT kerb is a composite kerb structure comprising of a plastic shell with internal supports designed to be bedded in concrete akin to a traditional kerb and thereafter filled with concrete to form a solid kerb piece.
The end result is solid kerb with a polymeric concrete shell. The beauty of this product is its light weight and ability to be laid in long lengths. It is bedded at pavement edge in 150mm thick concrete and backing concrete installed just like traditional kerbs.
Self compacting concrete is recommended for LT kerbs. For high strength applications, fibre reinforced self compacting concrete such as Tarmc’s Topflow fibre is recommended. For low volume roads and residential applications, normal concrete fill can be used.
